Rep. King presents Lozier with Heart of a Hoosier Award for 70 years in business
STATEHOUSE (Oct. 15, 2026) – State Rep. Joanna King (R-Middlebury) recently presented Lozier in Middlebury with her Heart of a Hoosier Award for 70 years in business.
King said Lozier is the leading manufacturer of products used by retailers in stores and warehouses with a vision of being operationally excellent in support of retail’s present and future. According to Visual Capitalist, Indiana generates nearly 24% of its GDP from manufacturing, the highest share of any U.S. state.
"Indiana is a state that works, manufactures products used all over the U.S. and world, and provides good-paying jobs," King said. "I'm grateful to have such a long-standing, innovative company like Lozier in my district, employing Hoosiers, contributing to our economy and strengthening our community."
King said Lozier's continued contributions include providing high-quality jobs, supporting local nonprofits and community engagement.
In 2022, King established her Heart of a Hoosier Award to recognize and celebrate outstanding individuals and local businesses that exemplify kindness, courage, thoughtfulness and transformative involvement in House District 49.
